New Day Church
In 1938 White Oak Church was planted in the rural northwest part of Houston, TX. Over the years as the city grew, the Oak Forest community was established the church grew along with it. However, like many churches over the past decades, White Oak Church began to drastically decline as the community changed around it and as the church wrestled with it's own problems.
But in 2018, in faith that God can raise the dead, the leaders of the church proposed what was called, “The New Day Vision.” This was a vision to restart the church on September 15, 2019 under a new name, New Day Church, and with a new commitment to reach people who are far from God.
